You are right - Aridne is really wonderful. I think Stoyanova is marvellous, Stephen Gould is not bad but Kaufmann was for me the ideal Bacchus!!!! Try Peter Grimes - womewhat different but a fantastic piece. I haven been in Berlin on Saturday - Deutschlandradio recorded this performance. Christopher Ventris is excellent as well as Markus Brück. Runnicles and the Orchestra - really fantastic. Kind regards
